THE RULES, IN ELEVEN SECTIONS.
SPANISH LAW · EU CONSUMER RIGHTS PRESERVED
Use the mod and the site honestly. Don’t falsify events, don’t harass other players, don’t scrape our APIs. Your Minecraft data is yours — we just hold it for you. If something goes wrong, email us first; Spanish courts and EU ODR are the fallback. Consumer rights you have under EU law are not waived by anything below.
“The Service” means the Minecraft Wrapped Fabric mod, the website at minecraftwrapped.com, and any related APIs operated by the operator of Minecraft Wrapped (“we”, “us”), a natural person resident in Spain. Full legal identity is available on written request to privacy@minecraftwrapped.com.
The mod captures your Minecraft play data locally. The website lets you claim a profile, view your stats, export or delete your data, and share Wrapped cards. Full detail of what is captured is in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided free of charge. Premium or paid tiers may be offered in the future; if they are, they will not retroactively change the terms under which existing data was collected.
- You must be at least 14 years oldto install the mod, claim a profile, or otherwise use the Service. This reflects Spain’s digital age of consent under Article 7 LOPDGDD; it applies regardless of which country you connect from.
- By installing the mod or signing in at minecraftwrapped.com, you affirm that you are 14 or older. The mod sends play data to our servers from launch — there is no “local-only” mode that exempts an under-14 user from this clause.
- If you believe someone under 14 has installed the mod or claimed a profile, contact us at privacy@minecraftwrapped.com. We will delete their data within 72 hours.
- You need a legitimate Minecraft account owned by you; profile claiming verifies this via Microsoft OAuth.
You may claim a profile by signing in with your Microsoft account. You are responsible for keeping that Microsoft account secure. If your Minecraft account is compromised or transferred, please contact us at privacy@minecraftwrapped.com so we can unlink the profile.
You may delete your account at any time from /dashboard/vault. Deletion is irreversible after 30 days.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Submit events that did not originate from your own Minecraft client, or falsify Minecraft UUIDs, server hosts, or timestamps
- Attempt to access another player’s private data, bypass row-level security, or enumerate accounts
- Use the Service to harass, dox, stalk, or reveal the location of another player, whether a mod user or not
- Scrape the site or its APIs at volumes that materially degrade service for others
- Reverse-engineer the protected endpoints, except where explicitly permitted by EU law (including Directive 2009/24/EC on the legal protection of computer programs)
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Where possible, we will warn first.
Your Minecraft play data (blocks placed, deaths, biome time, etc.) is yours. You grant us a limited, revocable license to store and process it for the sole purpose of running the Service and generating your public profile and Wrapped cards, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Public profiles and shareable Wrapped cards render with visibility controls you choose. Making a profile public grants a non-exclusive license for anyone with the link to view the visible fields for as long as the profile remains public. Making it private or deleting your account revokes that license prospectively.
If you post your own chat messages via the mod, the same rules apply. We never record chat from other players — see Privacy Policy Section 02.
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. This Service is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Skin images are rendered via mc-heads.net from your public Minecraft UUID.
The Minecraft Wrapped brand, the website design, the mod source code, and all original assets are the property of the operator of Minecraft Wrapped. Fan use is fine; commercial reuse of the brand or code requires written permission.
The mod and site bundle third-party libraries (Fabric API, Next.js, React, the Supabase client, etc.) which remain under their respective open-source licenses. Full attribution is available on written request to privacy@minecraftwrapped.com.
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by Spanish and EU consumer law. We do our best to keep your data safe and available, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every historical event will persist forever.
Non-waivable consumer rights. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law (including Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 and Directive 2011/83/EU). In particular, we do not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Other liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is capped at €50 (the Service is free; this cap reflects an honest stake). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost playtime, lost streaks, or lost bragging rights.
You can stop using the Service at any time — uninstall the mod, delete your account in the Vault, or do both.
We can terminate or suspend your access if you violate Section 04 or if we are required to by law. Where not urgent, we will warn first and give you a chance to export your data.
If the Service shuts down, we will give at least 60 days notice and keep the Data Vault export working until the last day.
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced at least 14 days before they take effect, via Discord and email. If a change is unacceptable to you, you may delete your account before it takes effect and it will not apply to you. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply where they are more protective.
For consumer disputes, the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/odr. We will also attempt to resolve any dispute informally — email privacy@minecraftwrapped.com first.
If informal resolution fails, disputes not covered by a mandatory consumer forum are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
